The Glaciers

The spectacular landscapes of the Glaciers National Park are truly impressive. As the second largest national park in Argentina, it extends along the Chilean border for around 170km. Around half of the park is covered in fields of ice and 13 glaciers descend into the great lakes of Lago Argentino and Lago Viedma.

From El Calafate it is possible to visit the Perito Moreno, Upsala and Spegazzini glaciers by boat. The dramatic Mount Fitz Roy provides a spectacular back-drop for walking or riding and there is ice climbing on the glaciers near its summit. Whether you explore by boat, on foot or on horseback, the experience of the glaciers is unforgettable.

Fancy crossing the border into the Torres del Paine national park in Chile? Let us take care of your trip planning and create the ultimate tailor-made holiday.
